Matera Cena is a portrait of traditional musicians from the Basilicata region of Italy, more precisely Matera. An evening of celebration taking place in the Sassi (ancient part of the city that is considered to be one of the first settlements of human civilization and a heritage site of the UNESCO) where music, food, wine and ancestral spirits come together in the liminal space of time photography.
