2010 | 16 mm Projector + Sewing Machine + Digital Camera + Digital projector + Computer | Variable Length
Collaboration with Else
A performance exploring the relationship between analogue and digital technology, and the use of light in a return to the origins of cinematic practice. A sewing machine hybridized with a 16-mm projector perforates a strip of film. When projected, the light-filled holes generate sounds through a digital photo-sensible matrix resulting in a light-based musical improvisation.
